9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, ANASTASIA & More announced for 2022-2023 Broadway season for Pikes Peak Center

The American Theater Guild, the nation’s largest nonprofit Broadway touring presenter, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2022-2023 season for the Pikes Peak Center. The season will kick off with big news as the number of Broadway shows drops to three due to popular demand. The BROADWAY AT PIKES PEAK CENTER SERIES will include the following touring productions: 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, RESPECT, TOOTSIE, ANASTASIA and MY FAIR LADY by Lerner & Loewe.

“We are truly thrilled with the caliber of performances scheduled for the 2022-2023 season. We strive to deliver world-class entertainment that will inspire audiences,” said Amy Hamm, executive director of the American Theater Guild. “It is important that we continue our mission in the Colorado Springs community and support the performing arts with quality performances as well as increased efforts in educational programs and partnerships through our Staging the Future initiative.”

TUMBLE OUTTA ‘BED AND TUMBLE ON DOLLY PARTON’S RIP-ROARING MUSICAL!

9 TO 5’s hit musical includes a book by the iconic film’s original screenwriter Patricia Resnick and an Oscar, Grammy and Tony nominated score by the Queen of Country herself, Dolly Parton.

9 TO 5 THE MUSIC tells the story of three co-workers pushed to boiling point by their sexist and selfish boss. By concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies succeed in reforming their office – or will events unfold when the CEO pays an unexpected visit? Inspired by the iconic 80s film and brought to you by Dolly herself, this hilarious new production is all about teaming up, getting up and taking care of business!

Inspired by the beloved films, the new romantic and adventure-filled musical ANASTASIA is finally making its way to Colorado Springs!

From the makers of the Tony Award®-winning Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of 1920s Paris, as a brave young woman sets out to explore the mystery of his past.
