Andy Cohen will host FOR YOU, PAIGE Tiktok Musical

For You, Paige, the first TikTok musical to be commissioned, will be performed live on stage in New York and streamed worldwide, exclusively on TikTok, via the @TIC Tac handle April 14 at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.

Hosted by Andy Cohen (Bravo), and featuring Roman banks (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and Sri Ramesh (EarCandy), For You, Paige, was created by Daniel Mertzlufft as an extension of his work on the viral sensation “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical”. On this new production, Mertzlufft serves as executive producer, co-writer, composer, executive music supervisor and music supervisor, leading an incredible team of creators, including co-writer Kate Leonardsongwriters Julia River, Katherine Lynn-Rose, Christian RJ, Blake Rouse, Morgan Reilly, Alex Engelbergand Kate Leonard with orchestrations by Macy Schmidtwho also serves as co-executive producer.

Alongside Banks and Ramesh, the production stars Kristina Alabado like Kaia, and features Jacques-Henri like Tyler, and JJ Niemann like Jarek, with Aveena SawyerAlysia Velez, Fernel Hogan, Cori Dandelionmaximum Antonio Gonzalez, Emilie Stillings, Thursday Farrar and Paul Schoeffler.

Media.Monks, an international creative agency and innovation leader with more than 50 talent hubs around the world, co-created the project with Mertzlufft and assembled an impressive team of Broadway creatives to bring the collective vision to life. Media.Monks’ leadership on this project is highlighted by Executive Producer Joshua Asen and Producers Danielle Dioguardi and Jessica Norton, with support from Global Head of Entertainment Eric Shamlin.

Mertzlufft was inspired by the vast musical theater community on TikTok to develop For You, Paige, collaborating with creators around the world to build this show.

In a story inspired by real TikTokers, teenage music nerd Landon (played by Roman banks) collaborates with her best friend Paige (played by Sri Ramesh) to a TikTok song inspired by his favorite book series. Landon’s TikTok is going viral, thrusting him into the spotlight – and leaving Paige behind. When a producer offers Landon the opportunity to adapt the book series into a musical, Landon discovers that the glory of doing it all himself isn’t worth the stress and enlists the help of Paige and the TikTok community to turn the show into a huge success. .

This production follows the overwhelming success “Ratatouille: the TikTok musical“, which raised more than $2 million for The Actor’s Fund and provided a sense of hope and excitement amid a difficult time for theater during the pandemic.
